Thank you for your interest in participating in Carnival of Ink.
Carnival of Ink brings together talented tattoo artists from across the country to showcase their work, connect with clients, compete in tattoo competitions, and be part of one of the Midwest's premier tattoo events.
Artist Participation
Licensed and professional tattoo artists are invited to apply for booth space at Carnival of Ink events. Applications are reviewed based on availability, event requirements, and overall fit for the convention.
Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance.
What Artists Can Expect
Participating artists have the opportunity to:
- Tattoo throughout the convention weekend
- Meet new clients
- Network with fellow artists
- Participate in tattoo competitions
- Showcase their portfolios and artwork
- Promote their studios and brands
- Connect with industry vendors and sponsors
Artist Responsibilities
Artists are responsible for:
- Maintaining all required licenses and permits
- Following applicable health department regulations
- Adhering to venue requirements
- Keeping work areas clean and professional
- Practicing proper sanitation and safety procedures
- Conducting themselves professionally throughout the event
Booth Setup
Artists are expected to keep booths organized, safe, and presentable throughout the convention. Booth displays must remain within assigned spaces and comply with event and venue guidelines.
Tattoo Competitions
Artists are encouraged to enter eligible tattoos into the convention competitions. Competition categories, schedules, and rules will be provided prior to the event.
Judges' decisions are final.
Professional Conduct
Carnival of Ink is committed to providing a professional environment for artists, vendors, attendees, and staff.
All participating artists are expected to conduct themselves respectfully and professionally. Artists must comply with the Carnival of Ink Code of Conduct and all event policies.
