Carnival of Ink Code of Conduct
Carnival of Ink is committed to providing a professional, respectful, safe, and enjoyable environment for all attendees, artists, vendors, sponsors, staff, volunteers, and guests.
By attending, exhibiting, competing, working, or participating in a Carnival of Ink event, all individuals agree to conduct themselves in a manner that promotes a positive experience for everyone involved.
Professional Conduct
All participants are expected to:
- Treat others with respect and courtesy.
- Conduct themselves professionally at all times.
- Follow all event, venue, and local regulations.
- Respect the rights, property, and personal boundaries of others.
- Follow directions provided by event staff, security personnel, and venue management.
Prohibited Conduct
The following behaviors are not permitted at Carnival of Ink events:
- Harassment or intimidation of any kind.
- Threatening, abusive, or disruptive behavior.
- Physical altercations or unwanted physical contact.
- Discrimination based on race, color, religion, gender, age, disability, or national origin.
- Deliberate interference with event operations.
- Actions that create an unsafe environment for attendees, artists, vendors, staff, or guests.
- Any conduct that violates venue policies or applicable laws.
Artist and Vendor Responsibilities
Artists and vendors are expected to:
- Maintain professional standards at their booths.
- Conduct business honestly and ethically.
- Follow all applicable health, safety, and licensing requirements.
- Respect fellow artists, vendors, clients, and attendees.
- Represent themselves and their businesses professionally throughout the event.
Reporting Concerns
Individuals who experience or witness conduct that may violate this Code of Conduct are encouraged to notify event staff, security personnel, or venue management as soon as possible.
Reports will be reviewed and addressed based on the information available at the time and in accordance with event policies, venue requirements, and applicable laws.
Event Authority
Carnival of Ink reserves the right to deny entry, remove, or restrict participation of any individual whose conduct is determined to be disruptive, unsafe, inappropriate, or in violation of event policies.
Failure to comply with requests from event staff, security personnel, or venue management may result in removal from the event without refund.
